About

I am a cultural anthropologist, linguist and educator specializing in Kazakh language pedagogy and translation studies. Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Anthropology at Texas A&M University, my research focuses on migration studies, repatriation policy in Kazakhstan, and teaching second languages. I have authored peer-reviewed publications on migration, Kazakh as a foreign language (KFL) and cultural symbolism. My work includes state-funded research on migration and digital language education.
