About

With over 15 years of experience as an international commercial lawyer, I specialise in energy and infrastructure projects, public-private partnerships (PPPs), and cross-border transactions across Central Asia and post-Soviet Eurasia. As a partner at GRATA International and a member of the Almaty City Bar, I have advised governments, international financial institutions (IFIs), multilateral development banks (MDBs), and private sector clients on complex legal matters, including project finance, security arrangements, and legislative reforms.

Currently pursuing a PhD in Law at CUHK, my research focuses on PPPs, comparative private law, and energy law, aiming to bridge the gap between legal theory and practice. I am passionate about legal harmonization and the transnationalization of commercial law.

Key Expertise:

- Energy & Infrastructure Law - Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) - Cross-Border Lending & Security Transactions - Legal Reform & Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in Central Asia - International Commercial Law
