About

Jovid Ikromi is a policy economist from Tajikistan working on public finance, economic policy, and development partnerships in Central Asia. He currently leads the Learning, Evidence, Advocacy and Policy function at UNICEF Tajikistan, focusing on leveraging partnerships and financing to support policies and investments that benefit children.

Before joining UNICEF, he held senior positions at the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan and Parliament as well as worked with the Asian Development Bank on economic analysis related to social protection and pension reform.

He holds a PhD in Economics and a Master of Public Policy from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). His work focuses on economic reforms, development finance, and social policy in Central Asia.
