About

My research focuses broadly on the the state, territory, identity, and politics. My most recent work examines the intersection of political ecology, resource nationalism, and religious belief, and my previous research has focused on the intersection of religious and national identity in Central Asia and the geopolitics of passportization in the de facto states of Georgia.
