My research focuses on political and social change in post-Socialist Central Asia and Eastern Europe, and the particular effects and roles of peacebuilding and security practices. Further interests include cooperation between academia and practitioners, researcher safety, decolonial theory, and statebuilding and peacebuilding in societies across Eurasia.
