Ikboljon's research interests span across Comparative Regionalism Studies, International Relations and international law with particular focus on Eurasia and Central Asia. His recent publications covered topics like the Belt and Road Initiative from the perspective of comparative regionalism; regionalization in Central Asia; and engagement of higher courts of Turkey with international law.
