I specialize in Russia/Eurasia, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East. With over 15 years of experience researching on Eurasian affairs, I have held lectureships at Iranian universities. I have penned 11 books, and over 50 published articles, many focused on Russian and Eurasian affairs and International Energy Policy. My analysis is published widely in magazines such as Iran Petroleum monthly, Islamic World Studies Quarterly, Journal of Central Asia and the Caucasus, the Persian Gulf and Security Monthly, and the Middle East Journal. I have had many interviews with Iranian and international media such as Al Jazeera, Russia Today, Sputnik, IRIB TV1, Al-Alam News Network, Islamic Republic of Iran News Network, etc.
