My research has focused on Russian foreign policy toward Central Asian states and transnational issues in the Eurasian region, including migration, energy, and security. While at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, I wrote my Harriman Institute certificate essay on Russian foreign policy and authoritarianism in Central Asia. I completed my Fulbright research project in Ekaterinburg, Russia, on integration efforts for migrants from Central Asia. At Drew University, I wrote my undergraduate honors thesis on Russian policy related to humanitarian intervention.
