Education & Training
My research interests include China – Central Asia relations. I have been working on Chinese institutions in the region, such as Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Belt and Road Initiative, as well as Sino-Central Asian bilateral political and security cooperation. I am also interested in human rights issues in Central Asia, especially in the context of China’s post-2014 Xinjiang security strategy.
