The Political Transition in Central Asia 中亚国家的政治转型

The research object of this book is the political transformation process of the five Central Asian countries, which is a dual process of “creating a sovereign state and reconstructing the political system”. The book starts from the political reform of the Central Asian countries in the late Soviet Union, and takes the evolution of the political system and the changes in the power structure of the Central Asian countries after independence as clues revealing the actual impact of various factors such as political party structure, elite game, political culture, religious tradition, geographical environment, and external forces on the political transformation of Central Asian countries.
