The History of Central Asia (Volume VI) discusses the history of Central Asia for nearly two centuries from the 1820s to the end of the 20th century. For nearly two hundred years, Central Asia has experienced conquest and rule by Tsarist Russia, as well as Soviet Russia and the Soviet Union. In terms of content, this volume deals with modern and contemporary history in the division of world history; in 1822, Tsarist Russia replaced the khan king system of the Kazakh middle and small Horde people with the regional governor system, which can be regarded as the beginning of modern history in Central Asia. the October Revolution of 1917 was the beginning of the contemporary history of Central Asia. From the perspective of social development history, from the middle of the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, Central Asia was in a colonial or semi-colonial period. After the October Revolution, with the exception of Afghanistan, the five Central Asian countries entered the historical development stage of socialism.
