Bilateral relations between Russia and Central Asian countries – 俄罗斯与中亚国家的双边关系

Russia’s bilateral relations with the Central Asian republics are the foundation of Russia’s diplomacy toward Eurasia. Although the interests of Russia and the Central Asian republics vary, they share some core strategic interests. Russia is taking greater interest in the region and is strengthening its military presence there.
