The Central Asia Protest Tracker (CAPT) is an original dataset of protest events compiled by the Oxus Society for Central Asian Affairs. It describes and categorizes protest activity in each of the five Central Asian republics — Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan — from January 1, 2018 to June 30, 2021.

The interactive map visualizes the spatial patterns of protest, allowing users to filter by type, issue, target, and response. CAPT includes data from the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED).
