 Description:

In the context of the increasing international and regional pressures facing China’s diplomacy, some Chinese academic circles have suggested that China-Russia alliance should be taken as a strategic response. This claim believes that the Sino-Russian alliance can bring a series of major strategic benefits to China. The principle of non-alignment is a realistic limit for Sino-Russian alliance, but in theory, it is not an insurmountable threshold. The positive effect of the alliance will not actually be as high as expected, and its possible negative effect will have a significant impact on the long-term stability of Sino-Russian relations.
