The Silk Road and the “One Belt, One Road” – 丝绸之路与“一带一路”

In 2013, after President Xi Jinping proposed to jointly build the “Belt and Road”, China needs to transform from only acquiring knowledge from the West to acquiring knowledge independently. The Silk Road, as a cross-cultural communication between nations and nations, human beings and human beings before the Industrial Revolution, provides a valuable reference for the construction of China’s independent knowledge system. Through the in-depth analysis of the Silk Road, this paper believes that ancient China made outstanding contributions to the development of human history through the Silk Road, and the Silk Road also changed the process of human society because of China. In the current “Belt and Road” research, we should pay attention to the discussion of the history and culture of the Silk Road, so as to deepen the research on the Silk Road.
