 Description:

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is a regional organization formed on the basis of Sino-Russian strategic cooperation. It is a cooperation platform for China and Russia to jointly maintain the security and stability of Central Asia and minimize suspicion and conflict. Due to the influence of multiple factors such as history, geopolitics, and the international structure, the two countries also have obvious differences in the expectations and goals of the SCO, which is manifested in their competition within the organization.
