Shanghai Cooperation Organization and China’s Overseas Energy Development Strategy – 上海合作组织与中国的海外能源发展战略

While utilizing domestic resources, vigorously developing foreign oil and gas resources, and striving to achieve multi-channel import of oil and gas, which is an important part of China’s adjustment of energy policy and energy development strategy. In China’s overseas energy development strategy, Central Asia and Siberia occupy an important strategic position. The development of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization is conducive to promoting China-Central Asia-Russia energy cooperation to enter a multilateral track and move forward steadily. The energy cooperation between China and Kazakhstan has achieved fruitful results and promoted the multilateral energy cooperation of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which is a successful example.
