Kazakhstan is an important neighbor of China and is located in the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt. It can play an important role in the joint construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt. China also occupies an important and priority position in Kazakhstan’s foreign policy and is an important cooperative partner of Kazakhstan. The initiative of jointly building the “Silk Road Economic Belt” and the “Bright Path” new economic policy are national development strategies proposed by the leaders of China and Kazakhstan in order to adapt to the new situation of international political and economic development and combine their national conditions and characteristics. A high degree of consensus has been formed on strategic docking. Through the analysis of Kazakhstan’s “Bright Path” new economic policy and related development strategies, it can be seen that the foreign policies, development goals and implementation strategies of China and Kazakhstan are highly compatible, and they can cooperate in an all-round way to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results. At the same time, we must also recognize that due to various factors, the cooperation and strategic alignment between China and Kazakhstan will not be smooth sailing, and many difficulties need to be overcome.
