Afghanistan: Lost Opportunities and Prospects – 阿富汗:失去的机会和前景

This article attempts to summarize the reasons for the failure of the war in Afghanistan and to analyze the prospects for the future of Afghanistan. The Afghan war has been going on for 9 years. There are different opinions on the reasons for its military defeat. This article organizes it and puts forward the author’s opinion. Since 2010, Afghanistan has entered the “Kabul Process,” the United States will begin to withdraw its troops a year later, and the Afghan government will take over all management and security functions. Afghanistan is at the crossroads of history, and its prospects are also discussed in this paper.
