After the Biden administration took office, out of consideration for the interests of U.S. national security, it decided to withdraw from Afghanistan by September 11, 2021. With the withdrawal of US troops and the seizure of power by the Taliban on August 15, 2021, the situation in Afghanistan and Central Asia dramatically transformed. In this context, the U.S. needs to rethink its foreign policy in the region.
